Nathan Hancock & Val Brizzee started Water West Irrigation in Rexburg, Idaho with one pump rig and one crane. They were quickly recognized as honest, efficient, and dependable pump repairmen. Shortly after American Pump began, Nathan purchased a new building and opened a machine shop in Ucon, Idaho. After the unexpected death of Val Brizzee, American Pump purchased Water West Irrigation in 1990.
